To do this film, you had to go back and become a child again, to feel all of those feelings for the first time. I think when you’re my age, you want to have an aura of being a man. My favorite romantic comedies are Love, Actually and Bridget Jones. It’s about pure love, and the consequences that come with that, with being a young man and a young woman.
#ALEX PETTYFER AND GABRIELLA WILDE TOGETHER MOVIE#
This movie doesn’t touch on that subject. A lot of movies, like Love Story, which is one of my favorite love films of all time, with Ali McGraw and Ryan O’Neill, touch on the basis of what they have to do when they fall in love, and then get married and have children. Parents need to be aware of the sexual content throughout the film.Collider: How did you strike the right balance in tone for a romantic film, and what are some of your favorite romantic films or romantic comedies?ĪLEX PETTYFER: What I love about this movie is that it’s about two young people falling in love for the first time, and that naivete that they have, which was very inspiring for me to do the movie. Overall Endless Love is a romantic drama, one that teenage girls will enjoy.

They loved the movie and said, “It has the perfect amount of fluff, just what teenage girls want on Valentine’s Day.” The theater was filled with teenage girls. There’s talk of teenagers getting high.

Even though the two teens went to high school together, David never had the courage to talk to Jade. David(Alex Pettyfer) is a part-time valet hoping to take over his father’s auto shop, with no plans to attend college.

Jade is a very privileged and beautiful seventeen year old girl heading for Brown University in the fall. Aah…one’s first love is always memorable, especially for high school graduates Jade Butterfield (Gabriella Wilde) and David Elliot (Alex Pettyfer).
